"I have students who started taking lessons in kindergarten who are now young teens with a strong technical understanding and a passion for music. These students have composed and performed songs, received honors for Certificate of Merit evaluations, and played in school bands and orchestras. I prepare high school students to study music at the college level and work with professional musicians who are looking for a more comprehensive understanding of piano and theory. I also welcome adult students who are just starting piano for the first time or returning to lessons after many years."
"I believe in a well-rounded approach to teaching. Each student is different, so teaching lessons one-on-one allows me to design a specific program that suits each student’s needs. Beyond studying classical music, I grew up learning a wide variety of instruments including trumpet, guitar, and voice. Many genres and experiences shape how I compose and perform my music."
